In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, reflexology as well as many other Eastern Healing modalities, it is taught that our body has numerous meridian lines/pathways that are like highways in which the vital energy of our body (Qi) moves. When these energy pathways become congested, certain areas of our body may not be receiving the proper amount of energy needed to take care of and heal ourselves. That stuck energy then manifests into our physical body in the form of ill health in one way or another.


One of the major areas in our body, where all twelve of the body's major meridian lines intersect, are our teeth and gums. What is happening in your mouth can be a hint as to what is happening elsewhere in your body. Each tooth corresponds to one, if not several, major organs of your body. More and more dentist's offices throughout the world are using these concepts to provide more of a body, mind, spirit approach to healing. If you do a search online for Teeth Meridian charts, you can see which teeth are associated with what organs in your body (Example: The molars on the upper jaw and premolars on the lower jaw are associated with the stomach meridian. A toothache or other problem with those teeth could indicate stomach issues, according to traditional Chinese medicine.).

Instead of getting too deep down the rabbit hole on this idea, let's cut to the chase ... when I first started out doing energy work, almost 20 years ago, I took an energy class in which I was taught a simple technique to send energy to my teeth and gums that were hinting at having possible issues. By using this technique, I was able to flood that tooth / gum area with energy, allowing my teeth/gums to get an influx of energy and heal themselves. That energy would also automatically be sent, via my body's meridian lines, to the corresponding organ also in need of attention.

I want to share this technique with you today. The technique only takes about 5 minutes, and, for me, when a tooth was hinting at having a problem, I would do this 2 times a day for a few days. It always took care of the issue. (As a side note … for those of you who don't know me, I am English. The English, when it comes to teeth hygiene, well, we don't exactly have the best reputation. It must be from really enjoying our scones and cream. Lol. I am happy to say that I have never had a cavity. Although I was not using this technique for the first 2/3rds of my life, it certainly has helped me during the last 1/3rd.)
